Hidden Pictures

Michael came home from school today with one of the hidden pictures from Highlights magazine. You know - the ones where you have to find the hidden images in a picture. He had found some of the things during library, but he wanted help finding the rest. He had circled something in the tree that looked like branches to me. Nothing else, just branches. I asked him what it was and this was his explanation. "It's the kite. The kite got tangled up in the tree and got ripped a bunch of times, so that is the kite after it was shredded."

I love that he has a story as to why he circled nothing and why he can clearly be done with his homework and go play.
