This weekend the whole family was in the van and Rachel asked us to say words and she would tell us if it was a proper noun or a common noun. We were all giving her words when someone said 'mom.' She said that was a common noun. Naturally I objected on the grounds that I am not common. A few minutes later all you hear is, "Hey Common Mom, want to hear a joke?" And when I did not respond I heard, "What's wrong Common M, why won't you answer me?" She has been calling me Common M since Saturday.
And she isn't even a teenager yet.
